Keeperbar 50mm

Keeper bars, also known as keeper plates, are integral components in the construction of guitar pickups, serving to focus and maintain the magnetic field around the pickup's pole pieces. These bars are typically crafted from soft iron and are situated beneath the pole pieces.

The sizing of keeper bars is crucial for aligning with the guitar's string spacing, and they are commonly available in 50mm and 52mm spacings. The 50mm spacing is generally used for neck pickups, while the 52mm spacing is often utilized for bridge pickups. This distinction in spacing corresponds to the natural fanning out of strings across the guitar's fretboard: strings are closer together at the neck and progressively spread wider towards the bridge.
